He grew up in Ilulissat, Greenland, and later resided in Greenland's capital Nuuk. He now lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. In collaboration with film producer Mikisoq H. Lynge, Otto Rosing and Torben Bech directed Greenland's first international feature film ''Nuummioq''.
